In 1910-11 Jared Newman sold the Bush Farm land and house to the Sheldon family who had moved here from a farm near Lisle, New York, to take advantage of the excellent education Cornell offered their children. They later bought "The Little House" at 303 E. Upland Road for their son and his family.
